Our Story
Ekagrata Capital was founded in Singapore in 2020 by our CIO Mr. Chetan Shetty, a seasoned investment professional with over two decades of experience in financial services. Before founding Ekagrata Capital, Chetan was one of the founding partners at Singapore-based Broad Peak Investment Advisers where he spent almost 13 years building it into a pre-eminent Asia-focused multi-asset hedge fund. Prior to Broad Peak, Chetan worked in Hong Kong as a Principal at Och-Ziff Capital Management and as an Investment Banker at JP Morgan Securities. He also gained valuable skills in audit and assurance as an Audit Manager working at a member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in Mumbai.
Chetan completed his Postgraduate Program in Management at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2001 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1998. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University in 1997. He is passionate about software technologies and holds various diplomas and certificates in the field of information technology.
Today Chetan continues to lead Ekagrata Capital with a single-minded focus on long-term growth of our capital.
